Spraying water when you scrape is the ONLY way to maintain a track in that type of weather. Without that, it would have been a freaking dustbowl, I have seen it there.

Hopping off the line is driver error.

Did I hop?

NO Not at SDX but I think you did @ IRP ... . Ill have to watch the Video Again

Hopping off the line is driver error.

So whats the error too many RPMs to Fast ??

Is that what plagues BBD I have countless videos of his truck hopping what seems like Feet off the ground to the point where he lets off ... ... . I only have one good video of BBD when it didnt hop at all .

The track conditions dont caused any of it ? what about the Woop Pee Doo's ?

I can't imagine the track having ANY whoop-de-doos (whoop pe doos?) considering the fine grading job the scraper tractor driver did... . We were waiting for him to roll it over, but they took him off too soon.

I Oo. I can't believe the pit man for the "BIG BOYS TOY" picked up that hot exhaust stack after it blew off the turbo. :-laf

I have in my possession, a DVD of that very moment, CLASSIC!

No shirt, shorts, and flip flops, with a cig hanging out of the mouth. Hot stack,no touch, lol.

"Tell me he isn't gon... ... ... BAWWAHHHHAAHHAHAHHH! Stupid Sum *****!"

I couldn't even get the whole sentence out before the idjet was kicking the stack.

That was a great pull. :D Cool to see the big diesel trucks. We really only see the big gassers here. :( Not many diesels at all, even street class. ISP rules suck.

Hey Bill, your truck sounds great. :D I was gonna flag you down to say howdy on your way out from the pull, but I was too far away.

Finding a Cummins in Watson's truck was a nice surprise. :D Getting that motor setup had to be a nightmare. Never seen that much plumbing on a motor in my life.

The diesel drags and the burnout contest today were great also. :D Saw Schieds dragster run twice. Last one was after almost everyone else had left. Probably not 20 of us in the stands. They forgot to turn to the clocks on, so no time on the last run. :{ The first one was 7. 5 @116 on the 1/8th mile track. Oo.

It was 5. 7 and one of our worst 1/8mile times. Did manage a 1. 14 60' on another run! 2. 8 g's! Oo.

Just so you guys Know I Bought the IRP 2005 video at the Diesel Power stand @ Schieds and the video only plays for about 30 mins then it wont read it ... ive tried it in everything ... . my computer says its corrupt.

MAybe they can send me a new one ... . who would I contact??

thanks

Oops. My bad.

Have any idea what your time was on the last run (assuming you didn't make another pass after the second run)? I know they didn't get it.

We didn't get a timeslip unfortunately. We usually go 130+ in the 1/8th. That's probably what we were doing that time.
