governor spring kit (wow)

this kit works great and its not hard to put in. One thing, my truck lost 4# of boost over the last two days any ideas on what happend.

Ski2 it looks like you need to start looking for leaks within the intake system. Start by checking all the hose connections from the turbo to the intake, if you don't find anything there you will need to pressurize the system and hit everything with soapy water to find the leak. I have even heard of small holes from rocks in the intercooler. Also cracks at the inlet tube to the intercooler.

Check the boost signal line to the AFC housing. Make sure that everything is tight. After the installation of the spring kit and all was well, I would assume that your boost loss (as BPINE suggests) is the result of something other than the spring installation itself. You might also want to check your fuel pressure, the filter may be getting plugged. Good luck. DBR
