Some time back I saw a post with a link to fix the grab handle problems. Mine are getting weak and this link had a set of metal spacers to put in behind the handle to help stiffen up the plastic for the bolt mount.

Anyone remember this and can help. I tried a search but came up empty

Thanks.

I think this is the thread you're looking for.

As I just fixed mine with the kit, well sort of. Its just a press fit and not much at that. Worked real well when I pulled sideways but the first straight pull it came right out. I don't know, maybe the fit is better on some than others.

I wound up gluing the pieces from the kit in then fiberglassing the thing in like another poster. Should be strong enough for even the fattest guy now.

Genos Garage will have a limited supply of these. We should have them in stock soon. Scott

I was looking around on your website and could not find this item.

I looked at "interior accessories" and searched" A pillar" "A pillar kit" "repair kit" "A pillar repair kit" no luck.

What exactly is it called and if applicable Item No. please.

If thats not possible on here, I will look in your catalog when I get home.

Hmmmm maybe I should read slower now I see in your reply " We should have them in stock soon"

Now would be a good time to add the pillar with gage ports seeing how you have to replace it anyway.

All my guages are already in the cubby hole below the radio. Plus I do not want to loose the grab handle as I have very bad knees and need all the "get in the cab" help I can get. :D
