I bought a all white Laramie Sport with a HO/6 speed. It was the only HO/6 speed within 700 miles I could find. Now I need to dress it up. I have added Bushwacker fender flares, line-X bed linner, black diamond plate tool box, toneau cover coming, and have put a picture of my Power Wagon on the right rear www.mcmp.net. The left rear will get a picture of my 1943 Dodge Carryall CTD ( www.dodge-power-wagon.com ) when its complete this spring. I found these graphics that I like and cut and pasted them on my truck to see what it looks like. The Top picture is as the trucks sits today. The bottom picture is the conception. The graphics would be air brushed on the sides and tail gate in shades of Blue/Gray/Black.

Whats your thoughts, looks good, looks GREAT, looks Terrible.

other suggestions. I may be to close to the woods to see the trees and need some more eyes to make a decision.

I want the truck to look tough, towing my trailer with my Power Wagons on board. Thanks for your thoughts

In my opinion, graphics do not look tough. They look wussy. A grille guard and tube steps and a biga$$ tailpipe look tough. Maybe a couple of fake bullet holes, but that's it. :D

makes it look like a ford.

But I'm not a graphics fan either--well sometimes flames are cool--especially those that are done in a color so close to the base coat that you have to be up close to see them. --subtle is the word.

I am not crazy about graphics on a full size. Some look okay on the import trucks. Heck, I don't even like pinstripes.

Some of the camo pattern rocker covers would look decent on that white truck though. Just my redneck opinion though... .

Cheesy IMO, no offense. Would never ruin the nice clean look of the truck with any graphics like that. You'll be so sick of them in a year.

Paul,

I'm more of a clean look guy myself, but who cares? The great thing is we can all do what we want. If you like it, do it. If everyone liked the same thing it would be a boring world. If you like it, that's all that matters. I like those other trucks of yours, by the way. They're way cool!

I prefer something much smaller and less busy. It's like it's saying "Hey, look at ME". (which is not me at all)

The phantom flames are a nice subtle effect. I also like more simple stripes that help to bring out the beauty of the truck's lines.

Of course that is just my opinion. (but you asked for it, right? :p )

Asking for comments and opinions on dressing up your truck is much like asking what oil or transmission mods are best - hard to get a clear majority view! Main thing is, it's your truck, you know what you like and what you want and expect as a result, and you are the one paying for it and will be living with it on a daily basis - so please YOURSELF, and don't worry too much about the opinions of others!;)

THAT said, here's what I did to mine:

I've lived with it for well over "a year", still like it, and get more thumbs up over it than I did with a long string of very nice rods and customs I've had in the past.

Take your time making your choice, choose wisely, then ENJOY!;) :D

Not what I wanted to hear, but your right

The replies were not really what I want to hear. But your all right.

At first I thought the graphic design looked sharp, scheduled a date with the air brush guy. This morning I kept looking at my beautiful truck and started to get cold feet. I too felt it was to much but needed others thoughts. The Black Line-X bed, Black Powder Coat Tool Box, Black Bushwacker flares look great. I am going to go with a tublar brush guard in black and probably a body line low to connect the fender flares and call it quits.

I live very remote in the mountains and have only at best a 24. 4K modem connection for the web. It can take all night for searching the web for things. Does anyone have any links to GOOD HIGH QUALITY front Brush Guards with light guards? I dont want a $129. 99 bursh guard on a $43K truck. Any helpo on a address for

real nice ones is appreciated.

Thanks Guys for your honest opinions, its what I needed. Ha! it go down to 36 below last night, never got above 10 below all day and heading for 30 Plus below tonight and the CTD started like summer ( block heater on of course).
