Great day for riding

Today the weather was great - 65F - had to ride my mtc for awhile- felt good to out in the air riding- of course I need a laser for the buttheads who like to tailgate - doesn't bother me in my Dodge but on a motorcycle its not pleasant. Well hopefully the rest of the week will be as nice - further down the Coast it was 70F - and this is November !

Hmm Just watched the news - it seems a Toyota Camry crossed the center line and hit a Dodge 2500 4x4 PU headon - the people in the Toyota died and the Dodge driver had minor injuries - another good reason to be careful out there !

I'm still riding also. Days are numbered now for sure. It's going for a whopping 50f today so I will ride again. Tailgaters $uck while on a bike, especially since you can't lay down a black cloud of death. I usually just out run them, even the crazed commuters can't keep up with the 12R .

I carry a couple of large axle nuts in my jacket pocket for the real stubborn tailgaters.

As one bounces off their hood, or windshield, they usually get the idea.

Wished I could ride still, I'll have to wait for spring. It was around 50 here yesterday, but with a 40 mph steady wind, it's not pleasant enough to bother riding. Took the horses for a 5 mile ride last night in the full moon light though! Moonlight rides are a blast. Have a day, Tim

I wouldn't know. It has been raining here in Pgh. for the last 3 weeks with no end in sight. Nothing like getting hit with liquid rocks

Got you all beat.



Considering all the bureaucratic bullpoop we endure in California it has it's great moments.



We are in our third and last day of a low 90's heat wave (actually feels like 85

) around 8:00 last night i grab the wife, her best friend that is visiting from Oregon, and our 7 yr old son for a ride to Laguna Beach( 4 miles We walked and played on the beach while the waves were crashing under a full moon. I was 76 degrees out and it is almost Thanksgiving:--) and yes we were giving thanks.

I only wish that my Honda Interceptor were running

Thats not fair Dan - send some of that goodweather up here please - something about 75F would do just fine. . sounds pretty nice tho - I think El Nino's back again !

I'm going riding today with a neighbor that has 2 Rokon's. This should be an experience. 2wd motorcycles with no suspension are a bit interesting.

Here on the front range it was 80 today, but by Sunday it is supposed to drop to 30 and snow! Good ole Colo front range weather. If you don't like it, wait five minutes!

Where are you in Colorado ? I was stationed in Colorado Springs - way back 67-70 at Peterson Field - nice place to be. .
