That could make the truck a little squirrelly as the rear tires try to swap places to get the springs back where they belong. Oh, maybe this isn't what he meant. :)

Glad it was an easy and relatively inexpensive repair!
 
It still wasn't as cheap as I thought. Oil change, fuel filter change, transmission flush, rotate and balance tires, lube front brakes, fix rear brakes, check rear diff and change fluid and of course fix carrier berring. Total $945. 00. How does that sound to you guys, he said alot of it was parts, he used synthetic fluid in the rear.

NAW... you didn't grenade the rear end. Two summers ago our pulling truck, about mid-pull, broke the pinion gear which removed three teeth on the ring gear, locking up the gears. That caused the rear yoke to shatter sending shrapnel through the sidewall of the left-rear tire which came off the rim!



THAT'S GRENADING A REAR END :{
