Group purchase in violation of website guidelines.
Head's up. The TDR staff has no prior knowledge of this group buy. No one from the manufacturer or distributor has contacted us to coordinate this project.
Please review the TDR website guidelines which dictate:

Backfire and Apology to randyn
Well, I'm the first to apologize when an error was made. I received the a PM from randyn explaining that our staff had been contacted to make sure this group buy was put together properly. Somehow, that information did not get to me, and I had not seen the other posts on this group buy. We'll follow up with Dynatrac on Monday, just making sure we know how long this group buy runs, etc.

In the case of my '02 2500 there are several obvious advantages that I can see:
1) I will remove some wear and tear from my front end by running with the hubs in freewheel ( I don't have a CAD ).
2) I will be able to access 2-wheel low in order to move trailers without having to be in 4-wheel drive.
3) I may or may not see a fuel mileage increase, but I will probably notice less road vibration from the front end due to the axle shafts and front driveshaft not being driven by the tires while on the highway.
4) I will have "serviceable" front wheel bearings.
I'm sure there are other reasons for other people, but these are the reasons that I am getting the conversion kit.

Just installed the dyna trac kit on my 02 on saturday. easy install about 4 1/2 hours including stopping for lunch and driving to town to get the 6 point spanner socket. The hubs do stick out but not to bad and it has grown on me. To early to be exact but appears that milege has improved.
