Here is the email I just got from them:
Hi Tyler,
We are aware of this issue, we tried to contact all our distributors to put a hold on that Fluidampr and somehow the one you purchased must have slipped through. We are working on a correction for the tach sensor; we will either decrease the diameter of the damper or design an offset bracket to include with the damper to move the tach sensor out of the way. I am hoping to have this problem resolved in 2-3 weeks. When we tested this damper on the dyno last September I have learned that they did not use the tach sensor during the test, they just moved it out of the way without making a note of the interference problem. I apologize for any inconvenience this has caused, If you would like to hold onto it for now I will notify you as soon as we resolve this problem, if not you can send it back for no charge and if we need to modify the damper you have we will exchange your damper for a new one. If you would like to send it back please let me know so I can give you an RGA # to return the damper.
Again I apologize for the inconvenience.
Thanks.

Hopefully this ends on a good note.
