Rickson Truck Accessories (800. 587. 7633) can probably get you any Grover product you want. Be prepared for sticker shock—my June 15, 1995 Grover Products Company price list shows compressor #1556 with a dealer price of $1,119. 17!!!

This compressor is typically used with Grover "stuttertone" emergency vehicle air horns.

I bought the Thomas No. 5z686 compressor. Got it from Granger. Cost was about $525. 00. Has a 6000 hour run life. I built my own tank and put it under the bed of my one ton. Tank is 5 gal. Put a pressure switch on it where it comes on at 80psi and turns off at 100psi. It takes about 1 min. to go from 80 to 100psi.
