Anyone that has installed the 3GSK end up with a "idle bouce". Especially with the engine is cold, each time I let the engine return to idle, RPMs will drop to idle and then a little bouce like it dropped a little lower and it quickly bouces back. Acts like it is boucing on a spring (GSK Spring ???)
This is on a 96 5sp. I keep my idle up around 850 - 900.
Not really a problem just a observation.
Idle was at the same RPM after the install so we did not adjust anything after GSK installed.
I am wondering it the idle is now controlled by the GSK (springs to tight) and it is boucing on the springs.
If someone had this happend and loosening the springs fixed it, I can easly make that adjustment. I would rather leave it alone if I have nothing to gain.
BTW... I must have a faulty 3,000 GSK kit. Mine does not cut back fuel until something over 3200. Have not tried it higher. WOW!
