I will fully agree with everyone on here. I bought my truck in October of 2005, was instructed to put in fuel gauge and got one. Got 0psi and replaced the LP. EGT is mounted post turbo, perfect spot on the cast iron piece that has dimple already for drilling. Just add about 100 degrees for actual EGT's. I've heard that the boost pressure is a great idea too, but I haven't installed one just yet. I may do that this winter. On this era of truck, they are notorious for having lift pump problems. The truck will still run with 0psi showing, but eventually the injector pump will crap out. Get the gauge, monitor the FP, and life is good. I will say that my FP gauge started tweaking out and turned out my new LP, that was only 7 months old, crapped out. Unfortunately, I didn't keep the receipt for my new fuel filter that i bought before i had replaced the LP the first time, so I couldn't get a new LP on warranty.
