I paid a similar price for a Remington 760 pump in a . 270 win last year. I thought it was a great find as well but come to find out it is possible to shoot the barrell out of a . 270 pump. I scrubbed copper out of that poor thing for 3 days and finally got it back down to about 4 moa.
