I will weigh it in a couple of weeks and if anyone guesses the weight they will win "Big Money".

Big money is the name I gave to a Skunk that lives in the woods next to our house. You will have to come collect the prize yourself :-laf

Is this closest without going over? And how will ties be decided? Can I guess what somebody else has guessed? You going to be in the truck? How much fuel? Toolbox full? How much air in the tires?

Can I enter more than once? Man I NEED a skunk. :-laf

I would like to enter, but I don’t know how much the air weighs back there. Here in California, we can see our air, so it is pretty easy to weigh. It must be scarry breathing air you can't even see.

I would sure like to have a skunk too. My wife said she is not sure what I need most, B. O. M. B. my truck or a Skunk.

Have you ever wondered why you never see a Red Skunk with a White stripe?

I'm going to go weigh it Monday, but I'm guessing 7200#. My 2000 3500QC 4x4 auto weighed 7380 without anyone in the truck and DC charts show that my new truck should weigh 180#'s less than my old truck. If I'm closer to the real weight than anyone else I'm keepin my Skunk. By the way his first name is Stinky, his middle name is big money :p

I will guess 6,800 + or - 50 lbs. I would really like to win big money. I would donate it to one of the political parties for a tax write off(doesn't matter which one at this point).

7,760 lbs. (full diesel plus driver).

Oh yea, 73 gallons of diesel, so your miles per tank should be less. :D

So Pit Bull, did that 180# go to options removed by DC?

I understand Red trucks weigh more. . :D

We have a winner

Weighed my truck today

2002 3500 Regular Cab 4x4 ETH/DEE

Frt. steer axle - 4060 lbs

Rear drive axle - 2760 lbs

Total weight - 6820 lbs.

My previous truck a 2000 3500 Quad Cab 4x4 CTD automatic weighed.

Frt. steer axle - 4420 lbs

Rear drive axle - 2960 lbs

Total - 7380 lbs

No wonder this truck feels so quick. It is 560 lbs lighter and has 30 more HP and 85 more ft. lbs of torque :D

The winner is Steve Roseman, you can come and get "Big Money" anytime you want :-laf

Steve I hate to say it but your prize stinks :-laf
