Well, we had a nice little storm the other day here at Ft. Leonard Wood, MO (my temporary home... ... ) and now my ram looks like a golf ball. My insurance agent says that their shop can fix it using "paintless dent removal". Has anyone had any experience with this technique (especially with hundreds of little dings)? Gotta love this weather!

The "Paintless repair" outfits seem to have an excellent reputation - I'd sure give them a shot at it - let us know how it turns out...

Here is my experience, from livng in OKC. If the dents will hold a golf ball, then paintless repair has a tough time. Dents smaller then that will work out real nice.

I just recently had a baseball size hail do a number on my truck. I am having to replace the hood, roof and windshield.

I once had a 1982 Lincoln Town Car fixed by those Dentless Repair folks. Lots of flat sheet metal there to see the dings. This was all parking lot damage with one crease in the edge of the front fender.

They fixed everything except for that crease across the fold line on the fender. I was real satisfied and it help up for the 4 years I kept the car.

i had the same thing happen to me last year it was terrible!! the insurace guy hooked me up with a paintless dent removal place close to me! i wasnt to sure about it but i took my truck over there and talked to the guy and he showed me some other truck and cars that he did from the same storm and i was very impressed!! he did a awesome job on my truck cant tell a thing!! i wouldnt be worried at all!! now i have to go back sometime and get 2 dents out of my passanger fender cause someone thought it would be fun to open there car door into my truck!! blaaahhhh!!!

Thanks guys... . sounds like you all had good experiences. Knowing my luck, we'll have another storm or two once I get the repairs!

Yeah, mine is in the shop since Tues. Won't get it back until next week so will give you a report then. About 1/2 to 2/3 of the dents they figure can be done the PDR way and the others will need body putty and repainting.
