Hey Guys, I need some help. The last search results on the next few questions were a about two years old... . so, thats why I am asking .....



I own two diesels. . 1997 Ram 3500... . 1986 Ferd F250...



I own a new aluminum boat 2003 (18')



I own a newer Arctix Fox camper... .





Here are the questions:



1. If I move to Tualatin, do I have any DEQ issues with my diesels?



2. Registering my boat... any hints?



3. Issues with registering my camper?





The reason I ask about the diesels, are in hopes of Killing "kitty", I hope.....



The boat, well, I heard something about registering it THIS year...

Welcome Tom,

Diesels are DEQ'ed here based on GVWR and anything under 8500 will need to pass for registration. Your 3500 is over and the 250 should be over so I don't think you have a problem.



Boats get registered through the Marine Board or agents.

Click Here for their web site. Read the first page then you might want to click the Registration link on the left hand frame.

EDIT: Boat registration is every other year in December (mine is due for the 2004/2005 season)



The Camper - The last time I bought an out of state trailer, DMV made be bring it in to check the VIN number and length. You will probably have to do the same. Shouldn't have any issues other then paying for it. Here is the Oregon DMV link

Don't see where your coming from, but welcome to God's country should you end up moving here. Check out www.nwbombers.com if your not already familiar with it. Most members are North in the Seattle area and a few east in eastern Washington, and in Idaho, plus a few of us from the Portland and Salem area. The group often has get togethers (bomb parties). Personally I've only meet a couple of the folks, but by following the forum it is very clear it is a first class group of diesel lovers. What BV stated is 100% on. The vehicle thing in this state is sometimes a pain, but not unreasonable.
