Ya, been struggling with this for a while, wondering if there is a PCM/ECM Flash would fix this or should I relay a switch to the pre heaters?

Now Let Me Explain,

1999 Ram 3500 QC 24V, Started out with a Banks TLC Plus Kit,(all the bells and whistles)consisting of 4" inch stainless exhaust,(Pretty Nice) Smaller Exhaust side housing and Big Head Waste Gate Controller,(Also Nice), Pyro/ boost gauge and 2 pod pillar, Blah, Blah, High Ram intake, and I think its called "Optimizer" for the fuel box? Well anyway after learning of all the TSB's on this truck first hand, i. e. 3 $1400 vp44 paper weights and 4 or 5 LP's, #53 Block Replacement at 90,000mi. an addition of a FASS system(which Blows BY the Way), on my second one? for some reason,ATS 3 pc. Header, Enterprise Performance Diesel Cam, ? apparently a reground marine configuration, also set a couple teeth advanced upon install, ATS Level 5 Everything in the catalog Transmission w/ in controller and hardened input shaft, Detroit locker in rear and tracloc in front. Oh , Edge Comp Box w/o level five connected to the PDR hotrod VP44,(dont really need it and smokes too much for a small turbo in level 4 already), I hope this is enough info.

When the weather warms up above 50 degrees or so Wait to start light does not come on long enough to prime the temp for start and the warmer it is outside the longer crank time for truck to chug and fart to life.

I am thinking the problem is somewhere with the cam position(But it runs so Nice), or the Manifold Intake Temp sensor? I wish there was an adjustment on the pre heaters to come on either when I want or to come one longer in warm or hot weather.

Also I have already gone through 1 Fass fuel system because the motor stopped running?, paid another $600 and this one has to be tapped with the butt of a buck knife to start pumping, same as before but with even bigger electrical leads 10-12 ga. to be specific, after only a year or so of use. (by the way has anyone else noticed that performance parts for these trucks go by increments of $600?) Funny Huh?

At This Point with the  truck... ... . HELP ME, nobody else around my neck of the country Knows Crap about these Trucks!!!!!!!

do you have a fuel pressure gauge---if not it could be the fuel/lift pump again--

possibly but I'm not 100% sure if the cam is set like you say it is if that might play into hard starting---call Enterprise Engine and ask them--or post a question in the competition forum and see what responses you get---chris
