white vinegar ;) with no lettuce

Bob, thanks for the advice, so how does this work, just back from garage, used white vinegar, applied with paper towel. . rubbed. .

then terry cloth towel. . rubbed, maybe this is just some kind of hard water, the water mark rings just doesn't want to come off. .

thanks again

The white vinegar thing worked for me, except I didnt use a paper towel, just an old cloth, and let the vinegar set for a few minutes, then wiped again. This was in my shower stall with a years worth of mineral deposites built up. The only other way was with very fine steel wool.

There is a car restoration company called Eastwood that sells glass polish for just that purpose and also to remove fine scratches. Ill see if i can dig up a number.

i had the same problem on both my trucks. i tried everything i could but nothing would take the spots off. TDR member GTOP gave me a bottle of glass polish that he had used and now the windows look better than new. one application has lasted me 3 months so far and almost a year( i think) on his truck. after polishing you only need any type of window cleaner to maintain.

i just bought another bottle to keep on hand.

this stuff REALLY works:D

Miracle Magic Cloth

You might try the Magic Cloth from DCMille 290. My son had water spots on the windows of his new house from his wife watering the yard. She let it get on the windows. He tryed some cleaners but know luck. So I gave him one of the magic cloths to try and it took the stuff off. They used it in the house too. My wife saw how could it cleans so now I have one less. They work with just water.

well found a good product that works real good!!!!!!

called "Bar Keepers Friend" it's like a cleanser [Comet]

and it really works, i just damp a towel, shake some on,

worked it till it was a paste and cleaned the window,

wiped it with another damp cloth then dryed it, it was sparkling,

it's now 10:35/2235 hrs, will do the rest of the car windows tomorrow, then i'll be Happy !!!!

thanks everybody !!Oo.
