Is the crankshaft serpentine pulley part of the harmonic balancer? My pulley has some minor crash damage that looks like it will shorten the belt's life and I need to replace it.
3924435 is the Cummins # for the 215 damper. If yours is damaged, remember it is cast iron. It could break apart and take out the radiator, hood, etc. I recommend replacing it asap.
My thoughts exactly! The engine's on a stand right now and I'm taking care of everything it needs before installation - including a PDR camshaft and of course the KDP fix. I intend to leave everything else stock, for the initial start and testing, to baseline the engine and then the bombing will begin in earnest .
