Sure hope this doesn't start another war.
Has anyone ever dyno'd their truck before and after switching to synthetic oil (with no other mods) to determine if there is any HP gain from the synthetics?
I've run brand "A" synthetic and Mobil 1 in my gassers for many years and firmly believe that they ran better after switching to synthetic oil.
I'm kind of wondering if there is any numeric proof on this on the Cummins.
Note: This post has nothing to do with extended drain intervals, soot, bypass oil filters, or API certification.
