DT Track Bar

Will the DT Track Bar clear a Mag Hy Tech front Differential Cover? I would make up a rubber boot shield to keep road crud over of that pivot joint. It looks like a pretty decent design. Anyone actually using it on their trucks?

While on the subject of Track Bars... My 98. 5 feels like the control arms are slapping around in the mounts. When checked, the bolts were tight. Could this be a track bar slapping under there? I don't think it's ever been replaced, at least not in the 53,000 miles I've put on it.

I bought an adjustable aftermarker trac bar thinking it would cure the steering wander. NOT!!!! After an alignment, in which, they said everything was okay it still wanders. I think that bracket is in my future. Glad I surfed into this post. Thanks guys

Is anyone interested in it adjustable/rebuildable trac bar I bought? I have the paper work at home. I can tell you it's a bright finish and I THINK I bought it out of Arizona.

Update...

Brand new news from DSS about their T-Bar:

http://www.solidsteel.ca/news.htm

At one time Darrin said the new trackbar setup would be adjustable for us guys w/ leveling springs on the truck. Perhaps this is not the case anymore? :(

If somebody has time can they price and find the best place to buy a '03 Track bar?

A late night trip to the Dodge dealers lot did cross my mind. It would'nt have if Dodge gave me a good t-bar in the first place. :p :D :D

Well I called Autozone and O'Reilly auto parts and they said that the '03 trackbar is a dealer part. Soooo... I will try to make it by the dealer tomorrow and see how much one goes for. I'm betting they are pretty proud of it.

I'm pretty sure the 03 Dodge trackbar is under $100 from the dealer.

Darin is considering making a drop trackbar bracket for the guys with a lift up front. I believe he is still working on the details. I think they will be custom made to order with the customer specifing the amount of drop they desire. This was the lastest I had heard to accomidate those with a lift.

Oh please, oh please, oh please...

I'd LOVE one from Darin made for the D25s. He may as well make a batch of them right away. Probably a few of us with the leveling kit who haven't bought a DT yet would sign up for one.

Especially if the total price (Darin's part + OEM 03 bar) is around $250-275.

That would be GREAAAAAAAAT!!!!!!!!!!!

So what are we going to nickname Darin's new Track Bar mount?

The DTM - D arin's T rackbar M ount ??

Track Bar

There is no way in hell that a 03 track bar is less than $ 100. 00, not in today's economy! Sorry, just find this one tough to believe!! But, hey you never know!! LOL

I thought $95 seemed a little light for a trackbar. I got that information off another site where the discussion of a drop trackbar bracket was being discussed in some detail. I decided to call the dealer tonight and get a definite price. Damn thing list for $245. If anybody else want to check the PN is 52106795AC
