Competition Has anyone heard of a 3400 RPM override for 24 valves?

I have heard some one mention that there is a black box override for 24 Valve motors which will allow them to run into the 3400 rpm range. Anyone heard of this one?

Not Bragging BUT

Mine reves above and beyond the 3400rpm mark. Just thought I would let you know that it is possible. I push 4000 rpmswhen pulling. Heck I start out with it reving between 3000 and 3500 pending on track conditions.

Way do go with the rpms, I've tried and came up short . Any chance that you converted to a P pump?? Larry

Honestly, I will not believe the RPM thing using a VP44 untill I see it.



What FPCM are you using... . the BMW320D?



What did you use to reprogram the FPCM if you have the OEM Cummins unit?



How can you go past 3200 RPM under full load with the stock ECM since the COMP needs an RPM Input from the ECM to work correctly... ..... hence if the ECM will only run to 3200 RPM... . so will the COMP





I have a suspicion that it is a P Pumped truck... even though it says in his profile that he has a Drag COMP and DD3's



and if he did use INSITE... he better hope BIG BROTHER is not listening

When you say BIG BROTHER who exactly are you refering to



I do know mine will cut out at 3500rpms according to the stock tach.

Dodge and Cummins have been knowen to watch this site, and if something illegal is going on, they will intervine. BAD things have happen before, and one never knows when it might happen again.

Don't listen to the negative comments and scare tactics. My thoughts on this subject are I paid for this truck and everything inside of it is mine for the use any way I see fit. I am not worried about voiding warranties and am not worried about some one threating to notify the black box police. Give me a fricken break.

Count me in on this modification. Please let me know who I can contact to help me with this mod.
