There is a guy over at the DTR that had his come in a couple of days ago and was waiting for it to go through prep. Haven't checked over there today to see if he actually picked it up yet, I would assume VERY soon.

I may get mine as earily as 1-23, otherwise I'll have to wait till 1-30 cause I have to go to Denver to get it.

Ordered mine yesterday. No firm price yet. How are they selling them if they don't know the price yet???????????

Barry:

My dealer had the prices back in Dec. Increase was less than $300 for the Cummins 600. Of course, if you are buying relative to dealer's invoice, it's always subject to change until the invoice is generated.

You probably won't see any 600s until early next month. It takes about that long for trucks to get through the pipe after being built. Meanwhile, I'm probably the only TDR member who has driven them, stick and auto, solo and loaded or pulling a trailer. They run and drive very well, not much different from the 555 ft lb HO. If you like one, you will like the other.

An email reply from Dodge was that my truck was put on a rail in St Louis on 1/11. I will pick up my truck in Springfield. I have no idea where it will go from St Louis but frankly it sounds waaaaaay too simple for it to go directly to Springfield, sooooooooo, I have NO idea when I will get it. They also comfirmed that I will be getting the "600", as they referred to it. I will post my impressions of it on here. I sold a '95, 4X4, 3. 5? geared, 5 speed, turned up to 300HP that ran really good so we will see. My new truck is 3. 73 geared with the automatic. I ordered it on November 8th.

Some things are too logical

Dale, my new truck went within 5 miles of my house on its way to the destination point 150 miles further up the track. It was 4 days from the time it went right by before it showed up at the dealer's lot

Mine is currently in cajun country!

Mine is on a railcar that just went through Edequincy, LA (wherever that is!) on it's way to New Orleans to transfer to Norfolk Southern for the final leg to Winston Salem, NC. I figure I will get it week after next...

Waitin' for my dually!

I wish they still did the factory pickup program like they did years ago.

Got my order in before x-mas. The dealer says it was built on 1/7 in Mexico, put on a railcar to the port, put on a boat to Baltimore, then a truck to my dealer. It is scheduled to arrive 2/5.

How come mine is the only truck I heard about that involves a BOAT in delivery?

A MONTH TO SHIP A TRUCK?:{

I may have to go to CTD/Dodge rehab for the withdraw and psychological damage this wait is inflicting on me.

Does it really work to tell the dealer "no decals"?

Waitin' on my 2004 1/2, 3500, 4x4, 4 door, "600", auto, LWB.

Mine has been on a train to Chicago, then will be trucked to St. Louis. I hope I will have it by the 26th for the drive back to FL.

That does not surprise me Vaughn. I called my dealer today and was told it should arrive there possibly monday. If so I plan to go get it wednesday. I will post results of "first drive" here ASAP.
