You mean people drive with shoes on??? I have nerve damage, so it hurts to wear shoes. I drive without shoes, and work in an office without shoes. Do the people who drive with shoes on sleep and shower with shoes too???
I have never driven my CTD barefoot but it has been embarrassing when my foot has slipped off the clutch from a wet tennis shoe and the truck started to lunge forward
I drive bare foot all the time. On good days, I roll the chair back and hang my left foot off the driver side mirror. You don't need the clutch to shift.
In Warshington State, 'waaay back in the good ol' days, it was suggested to me that if yer girlfriend was found (by the constabulary, of course) sitting in the passenger's seat with her shoes off, yer could be charged with statutory grape. So, whatever we wuz doin' in the car, we wuz doin' it with shoes on!
And, yes, I often drive in slippers or sox, but I do put my shoesies back on at the rest stops.
