So I bought a $1300 cummins in non running condition a while back. It needed injector tips and a lift pump. It's about as beat up as these things get. It has 379k miles on the odometer, which doesn't work.. So I found a he351w for 550 usd and installed it on my cummins. The exhaust down pipe was shortened 1.5 inches. I had to make an oil drain spacer from aluminum I had laying around. The factory oil drain bumped into the waste gate actuator (which I kept) so I pushed the drain pipe down ~3/8 of an inch into the rubber hose it connected to and fabri-cobbled a spacer using a belt sander and a band saw. Also, there was a long bolt keeping the turbo from clocking proper, so I band sawed that little bugger as well. The he351w has a smaller compressor wheel than the he351cw, it is 58mm vs 60. But the exhaust housing is 12cm vs 9cm for the he351cw. I had the 18cm exhaust housing on my old h1c. Oem oil feed fit. This is my first post, so I'm sorry if I do anything wrong
