Under nornal driving conditions my head light flash on and off every now and them all other light stay on(dash). Please help has this happened to any one else.

If they are just dimming a great deal on and off my experience is that the relays for the preheaters on the intake manifold are weak. I went through process of alternator, which I wound up checking twice as dealer didn't know. Thought it was regulator so bought new PCM and had to have it set by dealer which also didn't correct. Way I figured out was it was doing going down road after the engine was warm and was like preheaters coming on when first start up. I disconnected off manifold and taped off and solved my problem. This is on a 97 so your truck may not have the same setup however is a quick way to figure if your relays are ok

Not on a dodge truck, but I had a Subaru that did the same thing. Turned out to be the combination switch (turn signal, high beams, etc) in the steering column. Sometimes I pounded on the top of the steering column to get them to come back on. On that car, it wasn't too hard to replace once I finally decided to pull the steering wheel.

I agree with Sam - check the switch first. It's probably the least expensive option. Try wiggling it around with the headlights on and see if you can make them blink. If you can, there's your problem.

If not, I'd start tracing the headlight wiring harness looking for issues. You'd want to pick up a wiring diagram for that.
