Does anyone have any idea where Chuck Krause - Reno, NV got those headlights for his truck, ref: issue 57 page 138 top left.

Well, I'm Chuck from Reno and I noticed in my last catalog from LMCtruck.com they offer those same headlights. They're definitely better than stock but I don't know if the lights show up on the web site. They look identical to the one's I bought last Feb. from someone else.

P. S. If you can't find them at LMCtruck.com I can dig up my invoice and tell you where I got mine from. If you have a early model truck you will need a wiring harness from someplace like suvlights.com or something similar. Good luck

One additional opinion to consider (which I know nothing about other than it exists) is the 'sport twin light conversion' from later year 2nd gen trucks.
Also, to clarify the wiring harness issue... . my 98 powered the head lights thru the switch. With any HL upgrade u must consider upgrading the power source wiring. Each yr truck seems to have their own weakness.

Thanks Chuck, I put in for the LCM cat, could not find the headlites on their web. Their was a truck in the last diesel world or power can't remeber what one that had the same or near simlar head lights as yours. You have a nice looking truck. mines a 2002. 5 2500 HO Larame 4x4. Newer Vehicles seem to be using smaller guage wiring all the time.

I'll look into my files for my original invoice. I got the wiring harness from suvlights.com for a 9007/9004 conversion, then modified that harness to fit the headlight unit. Simple stuff and well worth the improvement over stock.

I'm stock suspension so I went off the Dodge service manual... which in a nutshell says, level floor 25' from a straight wall and adjust the low beam on the wall the same ht the light actually is. I did this and over time adjusted the beam up alittle more when I was on a back road somewhere to get it fine tuned. Haven't had anyone flash me so I think I'm alright. I've been told you can go to a body shop and pay $60 for a digital unit attached to your lamps for adjust if you're not comfortable diy.

warpig, another nice looking truck, lights and grill make it like another new truck model. I will be flying out to Enfield Ct. ta see the kids.

That's how I've always adjusted mine. THEN mark the centerline of the headights and light your fogs - their centerline would be 4" down from the prior at 25'. Driving lights if you gottem would be 2" down from headlight line or 4" down (use the fog line) BUT back up to 50'.

Warpig, On the suvlights site it indicates to use two harnesses ( to keep the install neat) for the dual batterys like we have. Did you use 1 or 2??

I only used one I bought from sport truck direct, it has 2 relays. I bought it cheap ($25. 00). I will eventually buy one of the SUV light harness' as I have a slight problem with the one I'm currently using. When I turn off the hi beams when the fog lights are on everything stays lit.

I have the same ones also but they have twin projectors with seperate switched halos and turn signal bars. I actually hate mine compared to stock for lighting because they go real dim on high beam and my high beam light never goes out. Someone said I can rewire them with relays to make them work right but I havent had time to mess with them yet.
