I ran into this same thing myself - clip popped off, etc. I was able to procure a clip from another member that had a busted head light to replace mine. Since that time I had a deer strike and busted a headlight assembly. I was able to save the clip/screw, and another member later on needed that clip so I sent it to him. I'm posting this as a reminder to other members - when you replace broken parts on your truck keep the parts in a pile, there are some parts there that may be usefull to other members (or yourself) in the future and could save someone hundreds of dollars. There are many things on our trucks that can only be bought as complete assemblies when one small part would take care of it - and the salvage yards KNOW that and charge appropriately. I save all my broken parts just in case of things like this. Pass it on! Wish I could have helped.
