I installed two new headlight assemblies in my 06. Came with LEDs. That was about a month ago. Now when you turn on lights they flicker a few times then nothing. Replaced bulbs and still doing the same. What do I need to change or fix?

In order to run LED lights on 3rd gen trucks, there needs to be a resistor wired in series with the LED ballasts so as to fool the trucks TIPM into thinking that there is a proper halogen lighting load. That way it will not de-energize the lighting circuit when it it does not "see" a proper electrical load.

Your description of your problem makes it sound like the resistor has failed and you will likely need a new one for each side.

You need to contact the company that you bought them from either for a replacement or for the specs so you can buy another better one.

New resistor for both side and different manufacture. For new replacement lights.
