Hello

So I am following the threads on upgrading the Head light Harness with the relays

I have placed a order with SUVlights and no response no action on my pay Pal order.

I then contacted Daniel Stern and e mailed with him a few times then E mailed him my order for a harness noreply I have called him no call back???

I wanted to use his made in USA KIT and have his harness maker make one for me no reply to my e mail. no reply to my Phone call????

Ok my TDR brothers any one else out there make haevy duty harnesses???

I am not ready to go the Sport light route yet.

Thanks in Advance.

Chris

How long have you been trying to contact someone? Most of these garage based vendors have other lives and can take days or weeks to return calls.

Daniel Stern sometimes misses emails... I know for a fact, because sometimes he replies promptly, but other times I have to write several times. It's kind of a drag, but MRoberts is correct... his advice and/or products are generally worth the wait.

Interesting to note that on my 2005, even with the oem wiring harness, I get 14. 3 volts to each headlight... have you actually checked your voltage at each headlight ??

At some point (around 2000 or 2001) Dodge added a headlight relay so that the CTM (central timer module) could turn off the headlights (and other lights) if you didn't.

I think that earlier Dodge trucks used ground switched headlights, not positive switched.

The wiring diagrams at Daniel Stern Lighting don't include DRL (daylight running lights) which can complicate any mods. All Canadian vehicles have DRL.

Hello

Mr Sterns quality reputation is apperant on this site and other forums I am a member of and contribute to and I dont mind paying for quality however, Mr. Sterns lack of response and followup is also apperant on this and other forums as well. I will wait and I will send him more e mails and hope that I can get my harness soon.

I just dont have time to build a harness right now.

Yaaay

I just re emailed Mr. Stern and he replied and said he will get right on the harness.

the pay pal invoice came very quick hopefully the harness will come as quick.

My harness was not available commercially because I needed one that could switch between truck lights and snowplow lights. David Dressler (goes by dresslered here on TDR) whipped up a really sweet, simple, and professional schematic for me to make my own. There are numerous sources available for the relays and circuit breakers and headlight plugs. Even some high-quality USA-made ones. Be choosy about your sockets and wire.

does anyone have Mr sterns email address,I tried to use the contact link, but since I do not use windows live mail(to many problems) do not have a way of just email with a link need actual email address . Damm computers
