You guys, check out
Daniel Stern Lighting Consultancy and Supply and then order yourself a pair of these bulbs--
<b>Philips <font color="red">Xtreme Power</font> 9007 / HB5</b> (TWO PACK)
(please do make sure that you take 9007 bulbs first, That is what my 2005 takes, but the Philips Xtreme Power are available in different configurations)
They are a dot legal, MUCH improved filament design for the terrible 9007 bulbs that we have to use in our 3rd gens. They are not simply a whiter looking, but less bright bulb. They are not a cure all to the p*ss poor forward lighting on our trucks, but they DEFINITELY help. If you add a wire harness/relay to give them full battery voltage, they will help even more, but not last as long as adverstised. I have not done the harness yet, but I no longer b*tch everytime I drive at night. Still , I dream about doing something like these guys--
