We need more information... . what year's your truck?

Check with a test light that you have power at the bulbs.

It could be that they both blew at the same time, that happened on my truck.

It could also be your switch in the dash, or something with the wiring to the lights.

Good luck :)

I had the same issue on my old 99. It ended up being the headlight switch. Found one for 5 bucks at a junk yard. Last for 1 1/2 yrs until I sold the truck

When my lights went out it was the multi-function switch, you know the directional lever. I bought one at Auto-Zone and it even had the Chrysler insignia on it but was half the price. If you serch through some old posts here you will find that 9 out of 10 times it's the MFS.

Summitt had (might still have) a cable that your OEM head light plugs plugged into and they had relays in their cable that actually ran the headlights. I've got one on my '02. THe idea was to get the electrical load off the OEM headlight switch to keep it from overheating, which it does.

The OEM headlight switch is UNDER engineered and not up to the requirements over the long term.

my ford diesel would burn out my hd switch every time i towed at night. too much load. i took it to an automotive electic shop and they put in a relay. when i would turn on the hds it would activate the relay and get power for the hds from another souce. worked great robert
