I have a 2001.5 with a Daniel Stern sport headlight conversion harness. 340,000 miles now. It’s worked great for ten years but this morning I went to go to work and none of the headlights would turn on. The parking lights work, but that’s it.

Any ideas where to start? I don’t believe all the lights are on one fuse, I know there’s separate relays.

Is the headlight switch a frequent issue.

There is no relay in the stock non-sport headlight system. I think Daniel Sterns adds one or two relays in his conversion harness.

The headlight switch should not be an issue since your headlights have been relayed forever. Even less likely to be an issue if you have the trailer tow package - trailer lights are relayed.

There are separate 15 amp headlight fuses (left and right) in the PDC. Hopefully, Daniel Sterns sent a wiring diagram with the sport headlight conversion harness.

The headlights are also controlled by the multi-function switch (aka turn signal stalk). That's where the Hi-Low select switch is.

Thanks for all the replies, guys. There was some corrosion at the positive battery terminal where the hot wire going to Stern’s harness is. It had migrated up the wire and caused issues. Cut it off and installed a new terminal, and now I have lights!
