A few years back Joe Donnelly did a how to on second gen. heater core change out

can any body tell me which issue that was in.

Thanks in advance for the help

If your driver door is sagging any, with the dash out the upper hinge is much easier to replace. I tried the pin-bushing repair but they were not correct size.

It may be covered here on TDR, if not, over on www.dieseltruckresource.com, there is a thread on replacing the heater core. Several guys have cut the long tubes on the heater core, and run heater hose into the cab. They did not have to remove the A/C evaporator. They seemed to be having good luck with that approach.

Thanks Guys I found that issue and have read it the idea of cutting the tubes sounds like it might be worth a look

THANKS AGAIN
