Yes, my tach works like it's suppose to, no jumping or anything unusual. Which anwsers the question I was just getting ready to look for in the other postings, how would I know if the ckp was working. So, Thanks for the thought. By the way I used up most of a can of freeze spray trying to find what it is that works when it is cold but shuts it down as soon as it starts to warm up. I even removed the cover from the vp44 but didn't find much inside to spray, I did cool it down but it didn't make any diff. I cooled off the MAP and IAT and even tryed cooling down the ECM and the electrical connections for each of them but, still no start. I have read somewhere in another post about an internal temp sensor inside the vp44. An one know if you can change the electrical section of the vp44 without removing it from the truck, or is this a repair shop only type thing?
Thanks, Tim
