I done good with the girlfriend!

another puter question

Reading all the kind acts posted in this link brings tears to your eyes reading the posts, especially after having dealt with some of the most hateful people I have ever met this past year. It helps restore a little faith that there are a few good people left on this wicked planet. WHAT is the latest on QTRHRS' grandson? We have not had an update on him for a while.

Thank you for asking. I have been cautiously holding off on posting Justin's progress. Steve posted this on Jan 13th, "The DNA level testing on Justin's bone marrow is negative, ie does not show any detectable bcr;abl transcripts (that the Leukemia cells would make). This is really good news. ", after Justin's Jan 9th bone marrow test. The doctors feel that either the blood infusion he received may have had a positive result even though he did not have the reaction they had hoped for which would have been a sign it was working or that his immunity system is fighting. Justin is gaining strength and is able to go outside some. This is a big change for a boy who hadn't the strength to step up a ~3" step as recently as December. In fact, we were praying Justin would make it to xmas. You can visit Justin's site at http://www.sevans.net/justin.htm Steve has sites posted about other ill children as well. Sadly, it is not just Justin or the other little boy this thread is about that are sick with Leukemia. There are many many more.

qrtrhrs, thanks for posting and letting us know. I know all our prayers are with Justin as he evolves into a smart, healthy and rowdy teenager. Oo.
