I've searched Napa, ebay, pep boys, O'Reilly's, etc with no luck. Clock springs appear to be available for '98 and up, but not for '97. Does anyone have another suggestion?
is it broken? I took my '98 apart and the only thing wrong with it the factory grease at the contact pickup had gotten hard and gummy... cleaned it all up added some wd-40 and I was back working fine, they are very simplistic inside them, ribbon tape and couple brass contact points. I have pictures of mine apart if it helps
My 2000 Dakota has had three clock springs replaced because of a recall. And the last one still makes a bit a scraping sound sometimes when you turn the wheel. Chrysler should be held accountable for the **** poor design, and should provide free replacement for the lifetime of the vehicle.
