Help!!!..EGT gauges are on backorder ....Does anyone know .........

Where i can get some Vison VDO series EGT gauges... According to <cough cough> Continental Imports there on national back order... . its been 3 weeks... . i need to bomb but need the gauges 1st... anyone have any other sources for the VDO vison gauges... Thanks John

What PNs did you order for your boost and pyro gauges? Did you get the Vision series? I've been searching the 'net for info without success. Went to VDO's home site and they don't show any pyro gauges, and the only boost gauge was in KPA #ad


This gauge stuff is a pain. I dislike something about all of them. . .

I like Autometer, but their 2" boost gauges only go to 35psi. Would like a little more room for serious BOMBing.

Isspro has a 50psi boost gauge, but I can't stand the looks of their pyro gauge--doesn't match boost gauge very well.

VDOs look nice, but finding info has been a pain!!

Just use the BLOWER gauge that Auto-Meter sells. Goes up to 60 psi I think. #ad

I thought of that, but the blower gauge is 2-5/8". I've thought of going 2-5/8", but there is no 2-5/8" pyro gauge.

Oh well, I'll probably get what I had before.

Another idea is to get the Isspro 50psi boost and Autometer EGT gauge. Not sure how goofy that would look though.

VDO gauges are available from Summit racing Equiptment. They have a pyrometer available in the Vision series part #310-153 their boost gauge only goes to 30 PSI so it might not be good for you high B. O. M. B. ed late models but it works fine in a #1 gen. truck #ad

Hey Vaughn Auto Meter does have a 2 5/8 Pyro gauge. It is p/n ATM-6561 in the Summit catalog.

I am pretty sure the gauges are from the Vision series, the part number that boatpuller provided looks familiar. I will verify the part numbers and post again tonight.

I was going the Autometer route but decided it was to expensive. I like the look of the VDO gauges which match the factory dash well. I made two compromises by going VDO and don't regret either: 250deg minimum on the pyro and 30psi max on the boost. I would have to sit in the truck for 30 minutes to drop the egt to 250deg and don't plan to do that, ever. I also wanted a 50psi boost gauge to read max boost but am more concerned with the 5-15psi range; just in case I blow a hose.

The part number for the Pyro kit is 310-953 and the Boost gauge is 150-052.
