bring it to the dealer and have them fix it! you buy a $35-50 thousand dollar truck and it dosnt even come with a block heater cord!! they cut enough corners and pinch pennys to afford fixing a few of our hot rodding, fellow tdr members trucks! flame away!!!!... . james

WTF??? the cac is part of the engine intake system... should be covered for the same time as the engine and turbocharger...

Thats what I thought when the first one blew at 36,750, but DC said no. That was when the truck was completely stock also. As the engine warranty reads, it only covers internally lubricated engine parts, electronics that are vital to engine operation, the turbocharger, and the high pressure fuel pump.

quick update...



Just got my truck back from the dealer. Junky broken plastic intercooler replaced with new metal intercooler, no questions asked.

They also did the weatherstripping TSB and "out of park alarm" recall.
