I think that the most important thing to learn from this is that you knew going into it that there was a salvaged title and were able to deal accordingly. I saw a news report about dealers getting an auction list and comparing with the carfax lists to see if a vehicle showed up on carfax. They would buy the ones that didn't show on carfax and then repair them. Then the vehicles are advertised with a clean carfax even though they were in a previous accident.
