As I posted earlier, the gears in my carrier are chewed up, and now I'm faced with what to do. Do I go with a stock replacement? Tru trac, Yukon grizzly locker? Any one with knowledge on these or others, your comments and expierence would be apprciated. I haul alot of heavy loads, and I'm on ice for 7 months of the year( usually unloaded on ice). I don't off road with the truck much at all. I don't believe that I need anything aggresive, I just want something that works and isn't abusive to the truck and tires. I need to be ordering Monday morning as I can't have my truck down for long.

I would go for an air locker or electric locker if that's an option for the AAM. Then you can lock it when you want and leave it open for ice.

Edit- I see West Coast Differentials offers the OEM, TrueTrac, and the ARB air locker.
