Engine/Transmission (1998.5 - 2002) HELP!! No Power Steering, No Power Brakes

I was leaving work today and lost both steering and brakes at the same time... . I checked the fluid and the nitrogen canister, canister was fine, fluid was full..... I'm at a loss, any ideas

could the vac booster be bad as well, seems like the PS pump wouldn't cause the brakes to go out too

You have what is called a "hydra-boost" on your truck which replaced the vacuum booster a few years back, it uses power steering fluid pressure to assist with brake boost. bg
