Dumb question time here. 1992 Toyota Camry 4cyl, auto, big miles, son's car. Have no spark. It was running, but missing in gear and thought had a fuel problem, now it won't even run. Almost new plugs, plug wires. rotor, distributor cap. Coil checks out OK on an ohmmeter, new igniter (Toyotaspeak for module). Have 12+ volts to the coil. Rotor is turning, has a fairly new timing belt so no reason to think it has jumped time. There is a condenser in the distributor; could that cause it not generate a spark? Is there any way to test a condenser, since they are not available aftermarket for this car and the dealer would have to order? Thanks in advance to anyone with some help.
