Went to pass a guy at about 70-75mph and my truck layed down. I backed off got my throttle back. Could only accelerate with light throttle. Made it home and changed my fuel filter. Runs a little better but acts up after deceleration and then hard throttle. Lift pump? Pressure still ok.
It has to check both processors so you will see p-done and it will pause there for quite a few seconds then run agin on the other system and give codes or p-done again.
Tried again and it went back to the odometer with no codes. Truck ran like a scalded dog today, 85-90 mph no problem. I went through about 2feet of water yesterday. I wonder if my connections on my lift pump are not water tight? Maybe connections were wet and then dried out. Also, should there be a sucking sound when I open my fuel cap? I dont remember that happening until recently.
Diaelectric grease for all connections .
I think that your tank should be vented , so if not its harder to get the volume , if you go long enough , you'll lose pressure also , volume is for accelaration & high speed .
