Henry rifle: .17 or .22 mag?

Love the looks of the Golden Boy, with octagon barrel. Don't want a . 44, . 22 is too small, only two other choices. Leaning towards the . 17, any thoughts?

Nowhere near the velocity or knock down power as the 17 rem, but alot cheaper and funner (is funner a word??) to shoot!
