Got this in an email labelled in my inbox from "PayPal" (as opposed to the usual "service@paypal... . "), titled "Review" I clicked on it (no attachment, thank god), and here is the text of it:
And here is the link- http://www.pproec.com/webscr.php?cmd=LogIn
I logged in, somwhat wary, then when it popped up my account info with the xxxx xxxx xxxx 1234 (not my real acct #, but you get my drift) for my account number, then asked me to VERIFY it by entering my full acct number, I immediately grew suspicous (which is pretty easy for me), then noticed there was nothing resembling Paypal in the address bar. I sent an email through the real PayPal website (paypal.com), and will get their opinion on the matter as soon as someone decides to reply. Thing is when you log in to PayPal from their end, there is nothing about restricted account access or "reviews" or "updates" etc. I even changed my password.
Has anyone else gotten a similar email?
Daniel
