I wonder if they consider the environmental savings that having ONE engine last 30 years vs 6 gasoline engines used up in the same 30 yr time span??? Or the 1/3 LESS fuel burned by the ONE diesel engine??? They cant see the big picture.



Probably the same mentality that promoted this "bull":

This is hard to believe, but in California prior to Arnold, the state had a program for commercial vessel owners that at no cost to them, would replace their 2 cycle diesels with 4 cycle diesels. For a twin engine boat that could mean getting 100,000 bucks worth of new diesels in your boat.



Unreal. This was not a sea story.
