Nah, I looked at trading it last summer, but this is the first vehicle I've still been excited about this long after buying it. Of course looking at accessories and BOMBs does help keep it new for me.

As I was driving to town to mail the final payment I thought "Now watch some idiot run a stop and hit me". Hasn't happened yet, knock on wood.



jeepit, the '85 CJ is around... lets see, the frame is in the garage, the body is next to the garage, and the engine and rear axle are in my wifes '82 CJ. I started the tear down before I bought the Dodge, now I can't seem to get much else done. I don't know if its this website or the time and money I'm spending on the Dodge. Probably a bit of both.

Welcome to club of FULL OWNERSHIP. My problem is the fact that I no sooner got mine paid off and the wife wants one for her too so now I am back to the SPLIT owner ship boat AGAIN... LOL... another 5 years of payments.

Great to have no truck payments. Mine's paid off, but that seems to be all that is.



For some reason, my wife decided that her 1993 Saturn wagon, with 80K miles on it, showroom condition, etc. , was just too old and unsuitable for her new job. So I come home to a new payment book, for a Saturn Vue SUV. Those things are expensive for plastic body gassers. Worse yet, to change spark plugs on the German V-6 engine requires taking off the intake manifold! And, of course, taking off the intake manifold requires removing part of the fuel system, and taking THAT off requires removing something else. The OEM plugs better be good ones!



On the other hand, the Vue's rear drum brakes (ecch) are made by Bosch, and they self-adjust when moving forward. And they really do self-adjust, unlike the Delco. brakes we all know.
