Hello. I finally installed driving lights on my 06 RAM and would like to move my switch +12v wire from the battery to the high beam so they shut off w the stock dimmer switch. Can anyone tell me what color the high beam wire is at the column cluster?

Sorry I don't know the color but I hope your using a relay cuz the TIPM sure wont like the extra load on the high-beam circuit. Stupid electronics

What lights are you using? Oo.

Of course. Using a constant duty solenoid actually. High beam wire will only power the rocker that powers the solenoid. Thanks for the tip though! :)

Using warn HID 700w. I don't like them though. They don't all four always light and even when they do, they are slow to warm up to full power. I'll be replacing them w light force next week.

Where are you looking to tap for the power? The power for the headlights does not go through the headlight switch, the only thing that the headlight switch does is send a signal to the computer to fire a relay. Your best bet is to tap the output from the relay.

the wiring on the 06 is very complicated. the best place is to tap the wire to a headlight and use a diode in series with the relay.
