Joe
Thanks for the offer to help! But I don't think I can make it down there. Rain check?

Bob & Kathy Doney E-mail to say:
Dear Mike,
Having problems with your Cummins smoking and stumbling above 2200
RPM? Its not your injection pump and I don't think its your lift pump either. Your problem is that you are getting air in your fuel system. A steady diet of air causes blue smoke and stumbling. The fuel heater
down on the side of the block is sucking air. There are two o-ring seals that go bad after time. They allow your fuel system to suck air and run rough. You can remove the fuel bowl from under the engine by the starter. Next take a allen socket and remove the inner retainer. I have the Fleetgaurd part numbers at work and can get them for you. I will contact you later and hopefully you will reply. I am new at this
and could only e-mail your address. I wanted to reply on TDR for other people to read this but could not figure it out. I am registered.

I do have a new wix filter installed.
So I'll check what I can 1st:
fuel heater o-rings
Then get pressure check tools to look for:
bad over flow & faulty lift pump.

Joe, you thinking that this stumble is not characteristic of a stock 94 & therefore is fixable? What do you think regarding adjusting stock gov'ner springs after I check the above?
Mike
