I just got through doing a service on my Dad's motor home which has a ISB275 with a very BHAF. He showed me that he could high idle by engaging the cruise control in neutral and pressing accelerate until the desired RPM was reached.

Has anyone tried this? Does it work? I have not had time to try it yet.

That rig has a system in it where the idle is raised by the CC. I bought the high idler control and it hooks to the throttle wires through a connector so all you have to do is rotate a dial and up the RPM's go up to max of 1500.

I don't have the link to the web site but it was from

practical solutions so if you know then go to it,... .

[edit] Found it

Hope this helps

Out of curiosity I tried it too, it don't work for me either.

I have a Practical Solutions High Idler but its been disconnected for a while.

Worked for me...

It just installed it and no problem... .

I had to adjust the dashpot on the small screw under the cap to make it 1500 RPM but that was it...

You guys did put it in the connection to the throttle wire right? i did this and hooked to power. has to be switched,,, and worked!

I also have the grid heater system saver. that works good too
